My Cake! The theme - redecorating the studio! The top tier is a fancy dust sheet with mini display cakes on top. I depicted myself and Julia supporting the top tier and Nicola is busy wallpapering. I had to be innovative, use colour, modelling, piping and a specialist skill (sugar pillars). The inside, when cut, gave a slice of cake coloured like a rainbow.
Finalists! (Rhianydd left, Centre Sue McDonld, Have Your cake & Eat it and right Terry Tang (Terry Tang Designer cakes), the well deserved winner!
Rhianydds prize for being a finalist was an all expenses paid trip to the Awards, with a night in the lovely Millennium Mayfair hotel. Below is our room, the American Embassy (view from our window) and the Brian Turner Flagship Restaurant at our Hotel.
