Cake Stands

Cake Designers are no longer limited to pillars to separate the tiers of a wedding cake.

Below are a few ideas of things you could use to display your cake, if you are looking
to make your own wedding cake, we have included information where possible.

Other Separators

This shows various candle sticks and also the white
round separator is a ribboned separator which can
come in a variety of sizes and heights. I'm afraid that if
you are looking for your own use, its just a case of
looking......sorry!

Glass and Perspex Separators

These are immensely popular in cake design. For example,
the two flat round bowls to the front right are used between
the tiers of a three tier cake, as are the two square vases
back right. All can be filled with flowers petals/items of
your choice.

Purchasing for your own use

The two square glass vases can be purchased from
Hobbycraft.
The round separator we use on the Arum Chic cake can
be obtained ffrom www.ceeforcakes.co.uk

Cake Plates
(Only available with our cakes)
These are a modern way to display a single or up to
three tier cake (not suitable for heavy fruit cakes)
£50 returnable deposit required.

Tiered and Silver Stands

These are stands that we keep here, but there are many other styles and sizes
available for use on our cakes.

Stand hire service for our Chrome Cake stands, collection from our
studio only. £15 hire charge for the weekend, you can collect from
Thursday and must return by Tuesday. £100 returnable deposit
required.

Stands for Treats and Pots
(Not available separately)

**New Stands**
These stands are available for hire for the choc treats.
There is no additional cost compared to the chocolate stand, but we will
require a £100 returnable deposit which will be returned on the safe return
of the stand on the agreed date.

The pink stand is the same size and number of tiers as the clear, but shown
here as a smaller size.

Chocolate Pots Stand
This is the stand you get as standard with
the Chocolate Treats or Chocolate Pots.
It is made up then painted with either
white, milk or dark chocolate, with
coloured ribbon edges or painted
chocolate edges.

Hand Made Sugar Pillars
(Not available separately)

The designs below feature hand made sugar pillars with an internal cake dowel for support. Your imagination
is the only limit to the design possibilities. (I am afraid that our hand made pillars are only currently available
for use on our cakes as each pillar is hand made in situ on the cake and spirit-levelled to ensure a stable
design).
