Dragons and Daffodils Cakes were delighted to be asked to produce the dessert for
the exclusive VIP Shopping event at Maria Church's "Chiesa"

The evening was a great success and was absolutely packed.

Copying of our Photographs
It has been brought to our attention that our photographs are being used on other peoples websites either as design choices or to advertise their
company.
You could say that copying is the most sincere form of flattery, however, these websites haven't copied the design, they've used our actual
photographs! Which means that they probably haven't actually created a cake similar to the one they are trying to advertise which is most
worrying for the Bride who then orders it in good faith.
All photographs on our website were of cakes actually produced by Dragons & Daffodils Cakes.
Our photographs and cakes are not to be used by another company or person unless they have been given express permission by Rhianydd
Easton (Owner/Proprietor of Dragons & Daffodils Cakes).
If you see one of our designs on another site, please can you let us know.

A well-deserved glass at the end of
a successful evening!
I don't think you could have fitted
anyone else in.  Guests were treated to a
glass of wine from Ballantynes and lovely
canapes from Elgano

Also contributing to the evening were Eva Designs - Handmade Cards who made the beautiful VIP
invitations
and Basgedi Florists who created the stunning floral arrangements you can see in the photographs.
Out with the Nurses
Rhianydd had a great afternoon with
the Nurses and staff from Oral and
Maxillofacial Department of the
Royal Glamorgan Hospital on their
Training Day.

They all made Christmas Trees

Dragons & Daffodils Cakes
21st Squires Kitchen International Exhibition Mar 07
We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the exhibition.
Rhianydd took four wedding cakes to the Wedding Cake Display and another "cake" to the Table of
Honour.
Rhianydd also taught a
mini class on her sheep
pillars which was a
fantastic afternoon
with much hilarity. Left
is the lovely ladies and
right is the result of
their hard work.

The Tree!
Rhianydd fancied a change from the
usual wedding cakes for this chocolate
tree.  Chocolate dominos, chocolate
transfer sheet butterflies and modelling
chocolate blossoms and roots
Dragons and Daffodils Cakes have celebrated their one year
anniversary at our new Studio.
The South Wales Echo visited the studio and wrote a feature on us.

We are proud to announce that Rhianydd Easton of Dragons & Daffodils
was runner up for this coveted Award.  All the team went to London for the
Award Ceremony in September hosted by the fabulous Joanna Lumley.

Our theme - redecorating the
studio!
The top tier is a fancy dust sheet
with mini display cakes on top.
Rhianydd and Julia are supporting
the top tier and Nicola is busy
wallpapering.
We had to be innovative, use
colour, modelling, piping and a
specialist skill (sugar pillars).
The inside, when cut, gave a slice
of cake coloured like a rainbow.

Dragons & Daffodils Cakes
for BBC "The One Show"
Dragons and Daffodils Cakes were delighted to be asked to
produce a cake to celebrate the "Green Gyms" 10th Anniversary.

The cake was taken to the Isle of Wight for filming by Lucy Siegle
and depicted a typical Green Gym enthusiast doing "just what they
do!"

The programme about the green gyms was on TV  "The one
show" BBC1 7pm Tuesday 10th March 2008

Pobl Y Cwm
Our Cake for "Pobl Y Cwm" the opening of the new Deri pub.

This is the cake that was used for the filming of the show.  We were
given a pic of the Deri pub to use (a nice sneaky peak before it was
revealed!)
