| Displaying your Cake |
| Collection The majority of our cakes are collected by either the Bride & Groom or a family member between 1 - 5 days before the wedding (subject to design). The cake is packed in sturdy boxes with complete instructions for storage and assembly of your cake and a photograph to give to the wedding venue/co-ordinator. Delivery If you would like us to deliver your cake (locally only), centre of Cardiff, The Heritage Park, Llangoed Hall and a few other venues are free of charge, further afield can be arranged for a small fee to cover costs (All deliveries subject to availability) (Sorry, Deliveries not available for Birthday and Celebration cakes at present. |
| If you choose a cake from our website which used an E, C or chocolate stand or perspex separators or glass vases, the hire of these will be included in the cost of the cake (a returnable deposit is required) and you will need to arrange for their safe return by the Monday after the wedding. Many venues have their own square or round silver cake bases (or stands) and a cake knife. Check with them before placing your order. If not, we can arrange to hire them from Confectionary Supplies, Lower Cathedral Road, Cardiff which will require a returnable deposit and you will need to return them by 5pm the Monday after the wedding to Confectionary Supplies. Click here to see our page for different methods of displaying your cake. Most Brides choose to decorate their cake table to co-ordinate with the rest of the room. You will need to speak to your venue to determine the usual space the cake table will occupy and any items such as confetti will also need to be placed onto the cake table when the room is dressed. Remember! When choosing where to put the cake table to keep an eye out for ugly fire extinguishers etc!! |
