Displaying your cake

If you choose a cake from our website which used an E, C or chocolate stand or perspex separators or glass vases, the hire of these will be included in the cost of the cake (a returnable deposit is required) and you will need to arrange for their safe return by the Monday after the wedding. Many venues have their own square or round silver cake bases (or stands) and a cake knife.   Check with them before placing your order.  If not, we have a silver round cake stand which you can hire from us (not available separately - please contact us for details), You could also hire one from Confectionary Supplies, Lower Cathedral Road, Cardiff which will require a returnable deposit and you will need to return them by 5pm the Monday after the wedding to Confectionary Supplies.   Their telephone number is Tel: 02920 372161. Most Brides choose to decorate their cake table to co-ordinate with the rest of the room.  You will need to speak to your venue to determine the usual space the cake table will occupy and any items such as confetti will also need to be placed onto the cake table when the room is dressed. Remember! When choosing where to put the cake table to keep an eye out for ugly fire extinguishers etc!!
