Whether you are completely new to Sugarcraft, or would like to build on your existing skills, you are most welcome to join my 2026 classes or why not host a class in a venue near you?

My name is Rhi, and I started Dragons & Daffodils Cakes in 1999.  With thousands of cakes produced over the years, and goodness knows how many hours of teaching and demonstrating Sugarcraft, let me help you find your sugarcraft niche.

What is Sugarcraft? 

Sugarcraft is an ever-growing collection of skills to create edible decorations for cakes such as modelled cake toppers and sugar flowers as well as the use of cake covering, texturing and Royal Icing skills to turn a beautifully baked cake into a work of art.

Now, the industry has expanded to include sculpted cakes that defy gravity and trick your senses.

​I have regular classes in Pantygraigwen Community Centre, Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff, delivered in English, but you are very welcome to use your Welsh.

I also deliver bilingual Welsh and English workshops through Menter Iaith Rhondda Cynon Taff, as well as travellling to teach at other venues around the UK and beyond with the British Sugarcraft Guild and for other organisations and businesses that host my classes (and demonstrations) in their venues..  

 

The calendar for 2026 is just beginning and will grow through the year as bookings are confirmed.
