Summer Monday evening Monthly Classes - Block of 2 classes
During this block of 2 monthly classes, you will learn how to create a wild Poppy plant and create the head, shoulders and paws of a little mouse that will be peeking out of some moss underneath the plant.
The plant pot and moss are not edible, but are a way to demonstrate how to finish your piece quickly to concentrate on the class subjects.
We will discuss making edible plant pots and moss during the class.
You will learn how to:
- Work with edible flower paste
- How to wire petals and leaves
- How to use food colouring dusts for realism
- How to use Saracino Pasta Model - a brilliant modelling paste which is easy to use.
- How to model the head, shoulders and paws of a little field mouse
- How to colour the mouse
These classes are suitable for beginners and up.
Sugarcraft can be fun. Rhianydd will guide you through creating the items, showing portion, adding character and colouring to finish. Trust me, it is a lot easier than you think, and creativity is actively encouraged, make it your own.
Each finished work will be different, that is the beauty of edible art.
