New year New Skills

Updated: 2 days ago

Would you like to learn the beautiful art of Sugarcraft?

There are so many skills to learn, you might call it "Cake Decorating", but it can be so much more, it could be the start of a new hobby, or even turn into a lifelong passion.

Welcome to my woodland and whimsical corner of the Sugarcraft world.

Be prepared to find dragons, flowers, animals and the fair folk.

If you worry "Can I do it?", if you have never played with icing before, there is a whole new world waiting for you.

My classes in Pontypridd are all-inclusive. What does that mean? To learn new skills, all you need to do is bring yourself, and maybe your favourite mug.

Come along, everything will be waiting for you. I prepare equipment for you to use during the classes along with all the ingredients.

Don't worry if you don't know the names of the tools or how to use the ingredients, during the classes you will learn how to use various types of sugarpaste and modelling pastes, learn about edible colours and how to bring life and character to your creations.

In the classes, you will find people with different skill levels, but there is so much to learn in sugarcraft, that there is always something new to learn, or skills to develop.

So lets look at the first classes I am announcing this year.

Four classes in Pontypridd, with monthly sessions for two, one Tuesday morning and the other Monday evenings.

There are two Saturday classes too, suitable for all levels.

The dates for the first half of the year for classes being held in Pontypridd are already on the website, so you can "save the date" for future classes too.

So what do you think?

Animal and nature is the theme for Spring, with everything from sweet little spring flowers .............including daffodils ready for St David's Day right through to animal and bird cake toppers and a green dragon that will make people rooooaaaaar with excitement. (yes, I do love dragons!)

Siarad Cymraeg?

Dw i wedi bod yn dysgu Cymraeg ers 2022, felly, rwyt ti'n croeso siarad Cymraeg.

I have been learning Welsh since 2022, so, you are welcome to speak Welsh.

The classes above are available to book on the website, and if you would like to keep following, make sure you subscribe to the blog for updates through the year.

Classes will also be posted to Facebook and Instagram if you would prefer to follow there.

and here is the Instagram link

Get in touch if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing you in a class very soon
